This game is an excellent tool to help students who have to learn multiplication and make them practice it and in the process remember tables up to 9.
This board game helps children practice single digit multiplication in a fun way. There are two games in one. The first one is intended to practice simple multiplication and the second one focuses on remembering multiplication tables.
These are two player board games. In the first one, players have to form lines of 4 coins of the same colour; the lines can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal. You keep playing till all coins are over and then whoever has more lines of four wins. Every move involves doing a mental multiplication.
With the ten pebbles that you have, your objective is to make maximum number of lines of three and four. While deciding where to put the pebbles one has to look at opponents last move do the multiplication also strategize whether the number you are blocking will help the opponent or not.
The second game on the backside has a different number set and the rule to make the line makes one recite multiplication table again and again thereby helping to remember it by heart.
